Zema Estate 2004 Shiraz May 07
Now we are talking; an expressive nose with lovely scented violent and fruit
notes. Driven by ripe, juicy, pure, strong fruit, the acid is fresh and the
tannins unobtrusive. It's ample-weight with a supple consistency, solid
structure and well-developed complexity. Dark chocolate, plums and coffee
flavours linger well but the wine finishes a little green (either from green
tannins or a combination of ripe and unripe fruit. Rated as Recommended with ***
for value, its $20 direct from the winery. Sealed with a cork.
