This wine was assessed blind.

A cool climate wine from Denmark in Western Australia. The nose was subtle and initially showed some “dirty" characters with red berry fruit below. This blew off to reveal cool climate black pepper and strawberry. Unobtrusive tannins combine with fresh acid and back a lean, supple, elegant wine that unfortunately doesn't have a lot on the back palate and lacks fruit generosity. Pepper dominates the blackberry, strawberry, plum and liquorice flavours. It's food-friendly and will be popular with those that like a light red. Rated as Agreeable with *** for value, it's ready to drink now and is sealed under screwcap and has an RRP of $20.95
