Wyndam Estate 2002 Bin 555 Shiraz Oct 04
The bouquet was sedate and showed subtle white pepper, plum
cool mint and earthy fragrances. A surprisingly pleasant flavour profile of
pepper, ripe plum, chocolate, mint and a little herbaceous character with enough
dusty tannins to be almost unobtrusive but provide a solid backbone. An honest,
well made wine with supple texture and ample weight which provides excellent
value at $12-15 a bottle. Rated as Agreeable with ****
for value, this is a great BBQ or pasta wine.
