Made from 100% Nebbiolo, the bouquet is sweet with floral notes, rose petals and milk chocolate. A clean, well-made, fruit driven wine; it is well backed by unobtrusive tannins. Sweet red fruit on the uptake with offsetting, savoury (and some spicy) nuances, and chocolate; the clean acid lifts the fruit. Just ample in weight with a supple consistency and an agreeable complexity, this fruit-driven wine is a very easy, inoffensive drop that is bloody nice for the price. Rated as Recommended with **** for value, drink over the next five years; it is sealed with a screwcap.
