Typical Central Victorian Cabernet characters with black fruit, plums, chocolate that is very savoury. Dusty drying tannins, unobtrusive acid and distinct fruit combine to form a medium bodied wine that is like a gangly teenager at present, it needs time to come together to show its best. It is solid, firm and has some elegance and time should improve complexity. Rated as Recommended (with room for improvement as the wine matures) with ** for value.
