Tahbilk 2001 Shiraz
Oct 04
Purple in colour, the nose is floral with light, peppery
nuances, fresh plum, berries and earth. With its smooth tannins and obvious
fruit driven nature, the wine is good drinking now but may improve in the short
term. Blackberry/blackcurrant spectrum fruit, plum, minty and with loads of
chocolate of moderate intensity, it is clean and well made. Medium-weight with a
firm but supple consistency, it is rated as Recommended with *** for value. A
reliable label.
