TK 2002 The Palatine Jan 09

A blend of 56% Merlot, 26% Cabernet and 18% Malbec, the wine is sealed under cork and sells for $ . The bouquet shows Indian ink/iodine, cedar, mint and meaty characters. Lovely savoury fruit showing plum, sour cherry, dark chocolate, and dark roast meats, it’s very dry and seems to be drying out. Just ample in weight, it’s solid and respectable. Complexity is good as is the length. Unfortunately it needs to be drunk now. Rated as Recommended.
