Sylvan Springs 2003 Shiraz Cabernet
Sauvignon Aug 04
A 90/10 blend designed as an entry level wine, it will
retail for about $13.50 and shows little in the way of oak and just enough
tannin to hold it together. An easy drinking, soft, fruit driven wine that
exudes blueberry, chocolate and mint aromas. A little raw at present, it seems that
whilst much of the fruit is ripe, there may be some unripe components in the
blend. Chocolate, aniseed, blackberry and mint finishes with crisp acid and the
wine is rated as Agreeable with *** for value.
