Seville Estate 2001 Reserve
Cabernet Sauvignon Oct 04
Purple in colour, the hue is clear, bright and vibrant.
Although the nose was closed, it was classy and showed sweet vanillin French oak
characters. A well-balanced wine with smooth, fine, tightly-grained tannins
which back the pure, deep fruit to form a medium-weight, solid wine with tightly
structured elegance. Blackcurrant, milk chocolate, mint, cold tea, cedar, a
touch of cinnamon, and aniseed finishes dry. A refined drop that is worth
buying, it is rated as Highly Recommended with *** for value, it should peak in
2008+.
