Scorpiiion 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon March 08sells for $29 (by six-pack) and is sealed under screwcap. This was the best wine of the three. The bouquet is dusty, varietal with loads of green tomato leaf, blueberry and milk chocolate. The smooth, tannins are there in abundance and provide a pleasant mouth feel. The sweet uptake immediately goes off-sweet with tomato leaf, cigar box, blackcurrant, milk chocolate and blackberry flavours. It's ample-weight, with a supple consistency and a solid and tight structure. It's a baby now and whilst it's approachable, it needs time to fill out to show its best. Rated as Recommended with *** for value, the rating should improve by 2012 and should keep kicking until about 2016.
