Scorpiiion 2005 Shiraz March 08 sells for $21 (by six-pack) and is sealed under screwcap. It has a bouquet that is deep, brooding and black. With enough chunky, but silky tannins to hold the wine together the wine is muscular weight, has a harmonious complexity and is ridiculously easy to drink. It just glides down. Unfortunately it is short on the back palate. All the flavours are black, blackberry, prune, and dark chocolate. Rated as Acceptable with *** for value.
