The nose on this wine was estery. Dusty tannins and obvious fruit combined to produce an ample-weight wine that is a firm, solid and has an agreeable complexity. Blackberry, liquorish, plum and chocolate finish with reasonable persistence. Whilst it's okay to drink now, it should improve over the next four years and is rated as Recommended with ** for value with room for improvement.
