Reschke 2002 The Boss
PlonkOz04
A reasonably complex bouquet showing dusty aromas with green
bean characters, coffee and menthol. Smooth, grippy tannins and deeply seated
fruit come across as almost disjointed but all the components are there and it
just needs time to come together. Sweet fruit with coffee, chocolate, tobacco
and tomato leaf finish with good persistence. Ample-weight, the consistency is
firm, the structure solid and the complexity agreeable. An attractive wine that
needs time and should be better for it, it is currently rated as
Recommended with *** for value and should be
getting there by 2008+.
