Punters Corner 2001 Shiraz Aug 04

The wine was released at CD about two months ago. A layered flavour profile which is intensely off-sweet and some spice adds interest in the bottom layers. Medium-weight, supple consistency and agreeable complexity makes this an easy drinking bistro wine and whilst it is rated as Recommended with *** for value, and whilst it’s well made, it does not stand out in the crowd.
