Punters Corner 2001
Cabernet Sauvignon Aug 04
Slight VA, coffee oak and pleasant blackcurrant
dominates the bouquet. Well balanced, well constructed, and well managed, this
is a perfect example of a varietally correct Coonawarra
Cabernet should be at this price point. Mulberry, mint, bitter coffee, cigar
box, leafy and a slight herbaceous note combine top form a well-developed flavour profile in this ample-weight, solid wine. Rated as Recommended with *** for value, the rating should improve
as the wine matures. Worth buying!
