Punt Road 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Oct 04

Attractive but muted fruit with a hint of spice and some shiraz like characters. An easy drinking wine that may improve but in all honesty it is nothing special. Sweet strawberry, plum, blackberry and spice with off setting savoury oak. Medium-weight, tannins are smooth unobtrusive and drying, the acid is fresh. A firm supple consistency and harmonious developed complexity completes the package. Rated as Recommended with *** for value.
