The bouquet on this wine was extremely expressive, it showed absolutely nothing! From the first step, it was apparent that this wine was all about structure with terrific, smooth tannins which provides a lovely mouth feel, the fruit is pure and the wine is showing perfect balance. It is earthy, with subtle chocolate, mushrooms and forest floor flavours and whilst it is harmonious now it should become seamless in 2008 and beyond.
