Bouquet shows good complexity with multiple berry fruits, chocolate, five spice, a touch of vanilla and some dill from the oak. A full-bodied wine with loads of powdery tannins that still need a fair while to integrate, if the fruit lives up to the task, it should be a very long lasting wine. Palate flavour profile is as expected with abundant intermingling flavours from the Cabernet and Shiraz but the wine still seems youthful and needs time to develop. Rated as Highly Recommended, I hope that will go up in time. Revisit again in a year.
