84% Cabernet Sauvignon, the balance Merlot. The bouquet was dusty with sedate but pure fruit and a hint of blackcurrant. The wine is well built with a seriously good  structure which exudes high quality. The palate follows the nose with the addition of mint; dusty tannins have buried the fruit which finishes dry. Ample-weight, with a firm consistency, solid structure and harmonious nature, it just needs time to integrate and gain complexity. It should peak around 2009+ and is currently rated as Highly Recommended with ** for value.
