Perfumed floral notes from the Merlot tend to dominate the nose which shows little except for a fair amount of dusty oak and some buried sweet berry notes.

A well constructed and well balanced harmonious mid weight wine with everything in the right proportion. Its easy drinking and well balanced with smooth dusty drying tannins, unobtrusive acid and pure fruit.  Palate flavours of milk chocolate, rich savoury dark berry, aniseed, plums are reasonably complex for the price point. Eminently drinkable and a safe bistro bet anytime. Rated as Recommended with **** for value.
