The wine is a Shiraz Cabernet blend and retails for around $18. Savoury, chocolate, blackberry, plum and mint finish with persistence. Just maple in weight, the wine is approachable now but the crisp acid will be better after short term cellaring. Nothing cloying or sweet about it, it holds some interest. Rated as Recommended with *** for value.
