Kooparossa 2000 Shiraz Aug 04

A ripe soft, fruit driven nose which leads to upfront sweet blackcurrants, intense coffee, mocker, chocolate and a blackberry finish. The piquant acid, which was a surprise is an added bonus as it helps cut through the wines natural sweetness. Ample-weight, the consistency is supple and it is very easy drinking. Rated as Recommednded with ** for value, many may feel the rating is harsh but this wine did nothing for me.
