Dark cherry and white pepper are noticeable immediately but there seems to be a
flat spot in the middle of the bouquet; it then moves through to hints of
molasses. A perfectly ripe, clean, off-sweet wine of ample-weight that is driven
by excellent fruit intensity and ready to drink now; showing molasses, black
cherry and other dark fruits, pepper and liquorice on the tail, it’s a black
spectrum wine. Rated as Recommended with *** for value, whilst there was nothing
wrong with it and many will love it, it failed to excite me.
