Jones 2004 Shiraz
Aug 05
The bouquet exhibits a varnished like oak influence, sawdust pine
notes, instant coffee, milk chocolate, and ripe spicy fruit. It is a
well-balanced, mid-weight wine with enough dusty tannin to provide a solid
foundation. The palate is similar to the bouquet but the complexity is marred by
green steaminess. Rated as Acceptable with *** for
value, at $20+ in this environment it will be a tough sell.
