The nose was flat showing five votes of SFA, completely and absolutely 100% dumb! However, that does stop this wine from being well built and well constructed. Blackberry, chocolate and mint build across the palate with incredibly long powdery tannins. Medium-weight, the wine has a firm consistency is squeaky clean, has some real refinement but will need ages for the tannins to resolve. Rated as Highly Recommended with ** for value with an added “bugger off and come back and see me when you're an old man by which time I will be showing my true glory.”
