Two standout features in this wine are immediately apparent, the first is the unobtrusive, ultra fine drying fruit tannins and the second is the quality of the deep, pure fruit. A welcome return to form, this is a high quality, clean well balanced and well built wine of ample-weight with a solid, tight structure and well developed complexity showing blackberry, chocolate and mint that finishes with excellent persistence. Rated as Highly Recommended with *** for value, the rating should improve as the wine matures around 2010+.
