The bouquet is clean, subtle and sweet with lightly toasted philo pastry, pineapple and peach. Looking for a serious bottle of bubbles, this is not it, but the ladies will seriously go for it. Well balanced, it is fruit driven with a sweet strawberry attack, peach on the mid palate and pineapple on the finish. The whole experience is enhanced by the refreshing acid that runs right through the wine and it finishes dry. Its easy drinking, elegant, light and whilst it doesn't have a huge amount of complexity, it will be a perfect quaffer on a hot summer day. Rated as Recommended with *** for value.
