A blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Tempranillo and 20% Shiraz produces an unusual, attractive complex bouquet. Smooth, chewy tannins and fresh acid combines with distinct fruit into an almost lean, savoury, very enjoyable wine with chocolate and spicy characters. A solid, supple wine of medium-weight the complexity is sophisticated and is a good food wine; worth buying for something different. Rated as Recommended with *** for value.
