The level of noticeable VA/lifted alcohol made nosing this wine not very easy but it did show very sweet fruit with vanilla, plum, white pepper and green herds. A medium-weight, uncomplicated, easy-drinking, food friendly wine with minimal tannins that is clean and finishes noticeably warm for its 14% alcohol. Very sweet on the uptake with with fresh acid to cut through the sweetness; the mid palate shows herbal characters before the sweet finish kicks in. Plum, chocolate and green herb flavours are found. Rated as Acceptable with *** for value.
