The sweet uptake is off-set by heavily toasted oak which finishes to bitter chocolate and the wine seems a little simple with a possible proportion of dead fruit characters. Medium-weight, the consistency is supple and soft with some elegance making it very easy to drink but it does need time for the oak to be absorbed. Rated as Recommended with ** for value.
