It has an RRP $28 but sells for $25.20 to cellar circle members and is capped with a crown seal. Driven by rich fruit, this wine is 100% stylistically consistent with the previous disgorgement I tried, but it doesn't quite have the same generosity and sweetness of fruit. There is a good combination of slightly sweet fruit, but the majority of the flavour profile is savoury. Blackberry and dark chocolate flavours finish with good persistence and are aided by crisp, clean acid. An ample-weight, firm and solid wine with an agreeable complexity, it glides down easily and is terrific summer drinking. Rated as Highly Recommended with *** for value, with an extra star going to those who are smart enough to be circle members.
