Cofield T XV  Disgorgement Sparkling Shiraz Aug 07

It can be amazing (and embarrassing) what one finds buried at the back of the fridge; in this case a bottle of Sparkling Shiraz that was sent to me about six months ago. Sealed with a crown cap.  Its a lovely wine filling the mouth completely with blackcurrant, red berry and chocolate  flavours, and unusually for this price point, it is not only not too sweet, it actually finishes dry!  It doesn't have a huge amount of complexity but the drying finish is a big plus ,and its well poised for its ample weight. Buy this one without hesitation. It will be perfect on a hot summers day. Rated as Highly  Recommended with **** for value.
