Burton 2001 McLaren Vale Shiraz PlonkOz04

The bouquet shows very ripe characters with coffee oak and spice. Like the Cabernet, it is also a little thin and shows typical spice, plum, coffee, mint and chocolate. Ample-weight, it is firm and solid but a little disjointed and not exactly a smooth drop. Rated as Acceptable with *** for value.
