The bouquet shows hints of lifted alcohol/VA; its fruit driven and expressive with pepper and spice, black notes, chocolate and red fruits. The bouquet is similarly endowed with black cherry, meaty flavours, pepper, dark chocolate, and raspberry flavours. It's not a serious wine; but it is seriously drinkable and would be perfect with lasagne or pasta. It's medium-bodied with a supple consistency, solid structure and diverse and harmonious complexity. Rated as Acceptable with **** for value it's a great food wine and is sealed with a screwcap.
