Buller 2005 Valerie Bush Vine Mondeuese April 07

And inky, black bouquet with loads of vanillin oak influence leading to a palate with abundant vanilla that is very sweet on the uptake, and a black mid-palate that finishes with dark spices. Driven by strong, concentrated fruit, unobtrusive acid, and velvety tannins, this is a full-bodied supple and fleshy wine with a diverse complexity. It's an unapologetic, typical Bullers Rutherglen sledgehammer of a wine that glides down easily, and consumers will either love it or hate it. Rated as Highly Recommended with *** for value, I didn't mind it at all. Sealed under screwcap.
