A good complex nose showing smoky oak, sweet blackberry with off-sweet nuances, a touch of aniseed and mint. Abundant, dusty smooth tannins, and pure fruit forms a well built, muscular-weight wine, that is firm, solid and tight that will only get better. A well developed complexity is provided by the layered sweet and off-sweet flavours of red. blue and black fruit flavours and chocolate that finishes long. A veritable baby and a cracker for the price, it is standout value and absolutely worthy of cellar space.
